About Us

The Acacia Academy of Music is a family-owned and operated music school located in Rogersville, Alabama. Our goal is to develop the technical and musical capabilities of each and every student, enabling them to become the best musicians they can be. Currently, we offer high-quality online and in-person piano lessons to children of various ages. Above all, we seek to nurture our students' love and appreciation for music!

Free Trial Lesson

We offer a FREE trial lesson to each and every one of our prospective students. This allows them to try out the method and/or instrument and see if it is beneficial for them.

Free Group Workshops

We offer FREE group workshops to our students in a variety of topics, including Music Theory, Aural Training, Music History, Performance, and more.

High-Quality Lessons

Through our development of both the technical and musical capabilities of the student, we aim to present our students with everything that they need to progress rapidly and confidently.

International Recognition

We offer our students the opportunity to earn certifications from prestigious international examination boards. (There is no requirement to participate, though - it is simply an option.)

Morgan Nogradi - Piano

Morgan Nogradi is the founder of Acacia Academy of Music. An advanced pianist, Morgan holds a Grade 8 certification in Piano Performance with Distinction from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and has also achieved a Grade 7 certification in Music Theory with Distinction. She is currently pursuing the Associate of the Royal Schools of Music (ARSM) diploma in Music Performance, along with a certification in Grade 8 Music Theory (Grade 8 is the highest grade).

Morgan's teaching style is student-centered and adaptive, focusing on each student's unique strengths and areas for improvement. She believes in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring their musical abilities and interests. Combining classical and modern approaches, she uses traditional methods to build a strong technical and theoretical foundation while integrating contemporary pieces to maintain student interest and motivation.

Morgan is deeply committed to her students' success and is equally passionate about her own growth as a pianist and teacher. She is currently studying piano and music theory under the guidance of Greek-American pianist and teacher, Stephie Koulouris.
